Counselling

The Coun­selling Pro­gram offers con­fi­den­tial trau­ma-informed sup­port ser­vices for sur­vivors of sex­u­al vio­lence, 16 years of age and old­er, who have expe­ri­enced sex­u­al vio­lence at any point in their lives. All coun­selling begins by call­ing our office to self-refer to the pro­gram before com­plet­ing an intake appoint­ment. Please note that when receiv­ing calls back from SACHA our num­ber will appear as blocked’ to ensure the con­fi­den­tial­i­ty of ser­vice users.

Individual Counselling takes place Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 9am-5pm and Wednesday 12-8pm

What we offer

  • Indi­vid­ual coun­selling to sup­port heal­ing around sex­u­al violence
  • Groups to sup­port sur­vivors of sex­u­al vio­lence while con­nect­ing with oth­ers who shared some lived experience 
  • Non-judg­men­tal sup­port that sees the sur­vivor as the expert in their lived expe­ri­ences and healing
  • Trau­ma-informed, anti-racist, anti-oppres­sive, and inter­sec­tion­al fem­i­nist approach
  • Sur­vivor-cen­tered in our approach to lis­ten­ing and respond­ing to dis­clo­sures of sex­u­al violence
