There is no right or wrong when it comes to how a survivor of sexual violence should act, feel, process, or heal. Some folks find sharing their story can be helpful to process feelings, cope, break silence, be validated, connect to wider struggles against sexual violence, and much more.
Here are just a few of the many brave and fierce survivors who have shared their stories in many ways:
A member of the Ontario Coalition of Rape Crisis Centres
A member of the Women Abuse Working Group
A United Way Member Agency
Supported by the Ministry of the Attorney General Ontario Victim Services Secretariat
and the City of Hamilton
