What do we do?
The Counselling and Advocacy Program offers confidential support services for survivors - women and men - of sexual violence, 16 years of age and older, who have experienced sexual violence at any point in their lives.
I didn’t realize how much the centre would help me. It has made a huge change in my life.
Counselling and Advocacy's services include:
- Individual counselling
- Group counselling - open and closed groups.
Women's Voices - open group for women survivors of sexual abuse and sexual assault.
Women’s Relationships is a 10-week group for women, age 16 and older, who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse. We will look at how survivors’ relationships are touched by violence in the past and by healing work today.
Creative Healing Group which uses art activities to help in the healing process.
Survivors and Substance - An open group for women-identified survivors who also struggle with substance use (drugs and alcohol).
