What do we do?
The Counselling and Advocacy Programme (C&AP) offers confidential support services for survivors of sexual violence, 16 years of age and older, who have experienced sexual violence at any point in their lives.
C&AP's services include:
- Individual counselling
- Group counselling - open and closed groups.

Women's Voices - open group for women survivors of sexual abuse and sexual assault.

Women’s Relationships is a 10-week group for women, age 16 and older, who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse. We will look at how survivors’ relationships are touched by violence in the past and by healing work today.

Practical assistance (childcare and bus tickets)
The C&AP seeks to offer supports that are responsive to the diverse needs of survivors. Cultural interpretation and American Sign Language interpretation are available upon request.
The Counselling and Advocacy Programme will:

Seek to restore a survivors’s sense of control.

Help her to see it was not her/his fault

Provide non-judgemental support so a survivor can define her own healing journey.

Be responsive to the needs of survivors from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Work to ensure community services meet the diverse needs of women.
